The Berkshire Manor subdivision is an enclave of the City of Alpharetta and borders the City of Johns Creek at both entrances at the intersections of Berkshire Manor Drive with Haynes Bridge Road and Alvin Road. Most homes were built between 1980 and 1983, making Berkshire Manor one of the oldest neighborhoods in the area on this side of GA Highway 400.
Berkshire Manor is within walking distance of Publix, Kroger, Fresh Market, Johns Creek's Newtown Park, sidewalk access to the Big Creek Greenway (Haynes Bridge Entrance), and many amenities.

Last summer, the neighborhood took a vote and selected to replace the neighborhood sign with a new design! The sign project remains in progress.
We're still raising funds for the 2020 Berkshire Manor Garden Club budget. All money raised will go to the sign project and to pay for materials to beautify the entrances. Donate to our PayPal Money Pool.
On Monday, May 25, 2020, Richard, Camille, and Frank freshened up the information sign at the Alvin road entrance. Fresh stain, new solar light, and mulch for info sign!

While many neighbors choose commercial lawn care services to tend to their lawns, there are neighbors in our community who are unable to do so for financial or other reasons. Emilio Betancourt and his wife, who live in our neighborhood, volunteer to help with basic lawn care free of charge. See Community Mowing to schedule an appointment. Emilio will accept donations, which are directed to the beautification budget to help with the ongoing care of the public entrances to our neighborhood.
The City of Alpharetta hosts representatives of home owner associations within the City periodically to discuss matters relevant to all the neighborhoods. Since 2019 either Frank Rietta or one of the other neighbors have volunteered to attend these meetings on our community's behalf. This is an opportunity to raise our concerns directly with Mayor Jim Gilvin and other officials.
